The hinge pins are positively pressed and thus allow the use of the hinges in case of strong vibrations and shocks. The material of the hinge wings is characterised by a high strength and is only partially suitable for use in aggressive environments due to the martensitic structure. Affordable friction pairings of the hinge components and lubrication reduce wear to a minimum.
